CELAP hosts the delegation of cadres from the Sudan People's Liberation Movement of South Sudan



From March 7th to 10th, at the invitation of IDCPC, the delegation of  from the members Sudan People's Liberation Movement of South Sudan, led by Mary, the Deputy General Secretary of the Party, came to CELAP for exchanges.


The delegation listened to four thematic presentations, including Institutionalized Management of Chinese Leadership and Modernization of National Governance, The Development and Opening-up of Pudong, The Communist Party of China's Exploration in Governing the Country, and The Practice and Experience of China's Poverty Alleviation Campaign.


They also went to the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Soong Ching-ling Memorial Park, Gubei Civic Center and other places for filed trips. They immersed themselves in participating in the Women's Day celebration activities of the academy, and gained an in-depth understanding of the new practices and achievements of Chinese-style modernization and the development of China's women's cause.


The exchange activities have a positive impact on enhancing the mutual understanding between the two parties and the two countries, especially for understanding South Sudan, the youngest country in the world. Mary, the head of the delegation, expressed her admiration for the brilliant achievements of the CPC, a century-old party, in modernization construction. At the same time, she also hopes to explore a development path that meets the needs of South Sudan itself on the basis of learning from China's experience.


Yu Wei, Deputy Director of Bureau Ⅲ of IDCPC, and Liu Genfa, Director General of the Department of International Exchanges and Program Development at CELAP, participated in the exchange activities with the delegation.
