Prof. Jiang Haishan, Vice President of CELAP, met with the Veliko Turnovo University delegation headed by its Rector, Prof. Plamen Legkostup On 15th December.
Prof. Jiang recalled the friendly cooperation between the two institutions, in particular CELAP’s mission to Veliko Turnovo University in November. He explored with the Bulgarian counterparts about the cooperation possibilities for international conferences, short-term exchange, and academic journals. During the meeting, he pointed out that it was significant for CELAP to better understand Bulgaria and other Eastern European countries in the process of achieving greater international impact.
Prof. Legkostup expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and the hope to further strengthen academic exchanges and expand cooperation in the field of leadership training, research projects, etc. After the meeting, Prof Legkostup also dedicated an oil painting created by himself to CELAP.
DG Song Jin and DDG Liu Genfa of the Department of International Exchange and Program Development also met with the delegation respectively and discussed on specific measures of cooperation between the two sides.
Veliko Turnovo University was founded in 1963 and is Bulgaria's second-largest university, known for its high quality teaching and research, modern teaching facilities and a wealth of disciplines.
