On Jan 15, Prof. Feng Jun, Executive Vice President of CELAP, met with Dr. Jonathan Woetzel, a Director from McKinsey’s Sustainability & Resource Productivity practice and co-chair of Urban China Initiative.

 

Prof. Feng introduced CELAP’s “Urbanization and Urban Modernization” program and spoke highly of Dr. Woetzel’s contribution in giving lectures for Program on Economic Structure Transformation and Urban Construction Management and Program on Low-carbon Economy and Urban Sustainable Development. He said, “the cooperation with McKinsey is efficient and productive in enhancing CELAP’s international courses. The cooperative courses proposed by Dr. Woetzel this time are distinctive in topic and will be given by renowned lecturers. The courses will be advantageous for promoting Chinese participants’ international perspective.” Prof. Feng also agreed to co-develop international courses in China’s urbanization trend and ecological city construction, targeting both domestic and foreign participants.

 

Dr. Woetzel expressed McKinsey’s will in integrating resources and co-developing courses with CELAP. He also expected to establish a long-term cooperative relation between McKinsey & Company and CELAP.
