Feng Jun Visits Belgium and France to Strengthen Ties with Major Partners



 

 

Executive Vice President Feng Jun paid a visit to Belgium and France from Dec. 10th to 17th and talked to CELAP’s major partners, with substantial progress achieved.

 

With Philippe Naert

 

In Antwerp Management School, the delegation was received by Dean Philippe Naert and Vice Dean Paul Matthyssens. Mr. Naert expressed his appreciation to CELAP’s contribution in hosting the joint program “Understanding China”, and invited Prof. Feng to join the graduation ceremony of the program (4th cohort).

 

With Arnaldo Abruzzini

 

In the meeting with the Delegation, Arnaldo Abruzzini, Secretary General of Eurochambers, and Robert Voorhamme, Deputy Mayor of Antwerp, both spoke highly of CELAP’s achievements in the 8 years since its inception. Mr. Abruzzini said that CELAP is a bridge connecting Europe and China, and will play an even more important role in cross-cultural understanding.

 

With Max Brunner

 

Prof. Feng also visited École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), Interministerial Delegation for Regional Planning and Attractiveness (DATAR) and Science Po. At ENA, Prof. Feng introduced CELAP’s training model and internationalization initiatives. Mr. Max Brunner, Deputy Head of International Department of ENA, said that enhancing leaders’ international vision is a focus of CELAP’s work, and a principle that ENA persists in a long term perspective. Prof. Feng and Mr. Brunner agreed to facilitate cooperative programs and hoped to sign an MOU in due time.

 

With DATAR Representative

 

At DATAR, Prof. Feng extended his appreciation to its head and hoped to renew the cooperative agreement.

 

With Francis Verillaud

 

At Science Po, the delegation was received by Vice President Francis Verillaud. Prof. Feng and Mr. Verillaud reached an agreement to start a joint training program targeting French diplomats and senior civil servants, and co-host an academic forum on “Eco-Civilization Construction in Urbanization”.

At Antwerp Port Authority

 

The delegation also visited College of Europe and Antwerp Port Authority.
