
At the invitation of European Union Chamber of Commerce and Antwerp Management School, Executive Vice President Feng Jun joined a forum held in Brussels aiming at connecting China and Europe for comprehensive cooperation. The forum was attended by over 110 political, economic, and academic leaders including participants once involved in CELAP’s “Understanding China” program.

In his keynote speech Interpreting 18th CPC National Congress: New Theory, New Mission and New Leadership, Prof. Feng Jun stressed that the 18th CPC National Congress is an influential event in Chinese people’s political lives and attracted world’s attention as well. The congress laid a strategic map for China’s future socio-economic development. He gave a systematic explanation on China’s socialist path with Chinese characteristics, its theoretical framework, and the overall prospect of China’s developing goals.
In the following Q&A session, Prof. Feng Jun had a discussion with delegates attending the forum on issues concerning China after 18th national congress. He further explained China’s reform in income distribution system, ecological civilization, improvement of people’s well-being, anti-corruption mechanism, etc., and was highly appraised by Prof. Daniel Van Den Bulcke, the host of the forum, and the rest attendants.
